1. About ChatIFA

ChatIFA is an AI-powered chat widget designed for UK financial adviser websites. It is operated by ChatIFA Ltd, based in Cardiff, Wales. By using ChatIFA, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Account terms

  • Each ChatIFA account is linked to one website.
  • You can sign in with a password or a magic link sent to your email address.
  • You are responsible for keeping your email account secure.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use ChatIFA for any unlawful purpose or to promote illegal activities.
  • Attempt to abuse, overload, or interfere with the service.
  • Exceed the message limits of your plan through automated or artificial means.
  • Use the service to send spam or unsolicited messages.
  • Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the ChatIFA service.

4. Free trial and billing

  • New accounts start with a free trial of 25 AI chat messages.
  • After the trial, you can choose a paid plan to continue using the service.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly. You can cancel at any time.
  • If you cancel, your account remains active until the end of your current billing period.
  • We reserve the right to change our pricing with reasonable notice.

5. AI disclaimer

ChatIFA uses artificial intelligence to generate responses based solely on the content of your website. These responses are not financial advice. ChatIFA is a lead generation and information tool, not a regulated financial adviser. You are responsible for ensuring that the content on your website (which the AI draws from) is accurate and compliant with relevant regulations. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated response.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChatIFA Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of ChatIFA. Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email. Your continued use of ChatIFA after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

8. Termination

  • You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms.
  • Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
  • You can request an export of your data before account closure.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
